[Movie 257 / Day 274]
Hallie and Annie (both played by a young Lindsay Lohan) are twins seperated not long after birth when their parents divorced. One brought up in America, one in England, they are each unaware of the other’s existance until a chance meeting at a summer camp. Once they get over the obligatory period of disliking each other, they formulate a plan to each meet the parent they don’t know with the long-term aim of bringing their parents back together.
An average family comedy, there is literally nothing outstanding about it at all. There’s nothing wrong with it but there’s also nothing special about it either. The ending is a foregone conclusion right from the word go and the journey to get to that conclusion is at least 30 minutes too long. I only watched it due to babysitting duties and it being on the TV at the right time, and even then it wouldn’t have made the cut if there’d been an alternative!

omg shut the hell up. So many people love this movie, me included. Don’t be so dismissive.
I wasn’t trying to be dismissive, but for me, it was nothing more than an average flick – it’s not as if I gave it an awful review!
Don’t forget, not everybody’s tastes are the same!
