[Movie 306 / Day 325]
Poor girl accompanies her mother to Camp Rock, a summer camp for rich kids with ‘talent’, when her mother lands the job of camp cook. There, she lies in order to fit in with said rich kids, telling them her mother is an executive at some music TV channel they’ve never heard of. She falls for the ’star’ shipped in to judge the rich kids, gets caught in her lie but makes everything OK because she can sing.
I hated every minute of this, it’s excruciatingly awful. I never thought I’d say this, but if your kids are pestering you for it, get HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL instead. The perils of having children.
